KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Kansas City man who admitted to sexually abusing two teenage girls for years is now behind bars and faces multiple charges.
Jackson County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Friday, May 30, indicate that John R. Goodwin, 37, of Kansas City, has been charged with multiple child sex crimes.
A probable cause statement filed by the Kansas City Police Department revealed that on Nov. 7, 2024, law enforcement officials were called to Children’s Mercy Hospital with reports of a possible child sex crime. Investigators were told a pair of girls - ages 15 and 13 - reported Goodwin had sexually abused them.
