VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Jackalope Festiva l wrapped up at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on Sunday.

The high-energy action sports festival returned for its third year, with more than 500 athletes competing in skateboarding, freestyle motocross, and BMX events. Beyond the competition, the festival also featured live music, pop-up shops, food trucks, and after-parties.

Event organizers tell 13News Now that Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer announced that Jackalope wasn't just returning in 2026, but that the festival will come back for the next three years! Exact dates and details haven't yet been announced at this time.
