Innes Cameron has signed for English League Two outfit Barrow after ending his lengthy spell at Kilmarnock.

The 24-year-old pens a two-year deal with the Holker Street club. ‌

Local lad Cameron joined the youth set-up 12 years ago before making his Killie debut in December 2016 but was never able to become a first-team regular. ‌

Despite playing games across nine separate seasons, the striker started just 10 leagues games and tallied 80 appearances and eight goals in total.

During his time at Rugby Park, he also had loans spells at Stranraer, Ayr United, Alloa Athletic and twice at Queen of the South.

Following their final match of the season, Cameron was emotional as he applauded the Killie faithful one last time. Article continues below
