TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. (WFLA) — A woman in Tarpon Springs scored big with a $5 lottery ticket from a local Publix.

The Florida Lottery announced Monday that 55-year-old Jennifer HercherAllen claimed the top prize from The Cash Wheel scratch-off game.

HercherAllen opted for a lump-sum payment of $605,016.40.

The winning ticket was purchased from the Publix located at 40932 U.S. Highway 19 N. in Tarpon Springs, and the store received a $2,000 bonus.

According to the Florida Lottery, there are two $1 million prizes remaining, and you have a 1-in-2,963,170 chance of being the lucky winner.
