UPDATE:

CATAWBA CO., NC – A reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for a deadly mass shooting in Catawba County.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering the $15,000 reward.

One person died and 11 others were hurt after a shooting early Sunday at a house on Walnut Acres Drive in the Mountain View community of Catawba County.

Some of the victims were shot, others were hurt as people tried to get away during the shooting.

Investigators say the victims range in age from 16 to 57. The man who died has been identified as 58-year-old Shawn Hood from Lenoir.
