GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Leaders with the Wild Spaces & Public Places Department and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs are renovating the Morningside Nature Center (3540 E University Ave).
The upgrades will be to the Living History Farm to install new livestock pens, structures, a new grazing area, and more.
Leaders say this project will enhance the quality of life for the animals.
June 2 through Sept. 30, the farm area will be closed to the public.
All other areas of the nature center will be open.
Upgrades will cost $125,000.
