WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — After an extensive search, involving all of Pine Cobble’s constituent groups, the Board of Trustees has appointed Dr. S. Jill Romans as the next Head of School, effective July 1, 2025.

Dr. Romans comes from St. Paul, Minnesota, where she has served in various roles at St. Paul Academy and Summit School since 2002, and for the past eight years as the Assistant Head of School. Throughout her career she has been a teacher at the early childhood through the university levels and has held a wide variety of leadership roles, including Middle School Principal for 13 years. Also a clinical neuropsychologist, Dr. Romans has evaluated and counseled students and adults, both in school and clinical settings.
