The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP) has announced the creation of the state’s first-ever Wild Turkey Stamp, set to debut during the 2026 spring turkey season.
The initiative marks a major milestone in conservation efforts and is the result of a multi-year legislative effort led by hunters, conservation partners, and land managers.
To kick off this landmark program, MDWFP is inviting Mississippi-based artists aged 15 and up to participate in an art contest. The winning design will be featured on the Mississippi Wild Turkey Stamp and will be showcased to thousands of outdoor enthusiasts across the state.
