The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting outside of a Marrero store that left one man injured Sunday night.

The shooting was reported about 10:30 p.m. at a store in the 3400 block of Ames Boulevard , said Capt. Jason Rivarde, spokesperson for the department.

The victim, a 59-year-old man, was shot multiple times and taken to a hospital. He was in stable condition, Rivarde said Monday.

Investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.
