Sand Harbor State Park’s boat ramp and parking lot will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, June 4-5, as crews remove a dock damaged in recent storms, according to Nevada State Parks.
Once removed, the dock will be stored in the lot, which will reopen with limited parking. Access will remain restricted while the dock stays on site.
Boat launch parking is first-come, first-served. Visitors are urged to arrive early.
A second short-term closure may be needed when a crane arrives to finish removal.
