LANCASTER, S.C. (TNND) — Lancaster County, South Carolina authorities announced last month they arrested six illegal migrants involved in the murder of a local woman.
A SWAT team later executed a search warrant on Asael Torres-Chirinos, 21, after determining he was present at both crime scenes. Officers arrested Torres-Chirinos and located in his possession the handgun which had been used in both incidents.
Investigators then identified five other individuals involved in both the burglary and murder. Their ages range from 13 to 21 years old.
Federal immigration authorities determined all six individuals were in the country illegally, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.
