SOUTH POINT, Ohio (WCHS) — A new food distribution and greenhouse facility is set to create 150 jobs in the South Point, Ohio, area, officials said.

Azure Standard announced Monday it would invest more than $9.3 million to establish the new facility, according to a news release. The company is a national distributor of organic and natural food products.

“This is a significant project for Lawrence County and our community,” Bill Dingus, executive director of the Lawrence Economic Development Corporation, said in the news release. “Azure Standard is an impressive company with a nationwide reach and a values-driven mission. We are proud that they have chosen South Point for this major expansion, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth and success in southern Ohio.”
