DENVER (KDVR) — An investigation is underway after a suspect allegedly threw a makeshift flamethrower and incendiary device into a group on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder on Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, the FBI said a suspect allegedly threw a makeshift flamethrower and an incendiary device into a crowd on Pearl Street Mall, injuring eight people during a demonstration held by Run for Their Lives. The suspect was heard yelling, “Free Palestine.”

Who is the suspect?

The FBI said the suspect was identified as 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman from El Paso County. Soliman was arrested on the scene, and he was booked into Boulder County Jail on several charges, inc
