A Jackson County grand jury has indicted a Leawood man on a total of five counts of second-degree sodomy for allegedly assaulting women during massages at a Kansas City spa.

Gui Jin Jiang, 65 — who already faced two of those counts for alleged assaults in May 2022 and August 2023 — was indicted late last week on three more, according to an online court database.

The superseding indictment, filed Thursday, said the new counts are related to reported assaults in December 2022 and April 2023.

The Star first wrote in late February about the allegations against Jiang. At that time, he was charged with the two counts of second-degree sodomy after two women reported he sexually assaulted them during massages at Fusion Spa, 12931 Stateline Road.
