COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Eight Texas A&M baseball players entered their names into the transfer portal on the first day of the transfer window, according to a source with access to the online database.

Right-handed pitcher Isaac Morton headlines the group, which includes catcher Jacob Galloway, right hander Blayne Lyne, right hander Houston Tomlinson, outfileder Nathan Tobin, right hander Kyrin LeBlanc, catcher Hayden Crites and left hander Austin Vargas.

Morton, a sophomore, collected a 1-0 record and a 2.45 ERA last season in three appearances and 3.2 innings pitched. He threw 82 total pitches, while issuing four walks and four strikeouts.
