Billings, MT - Every journey has a beginning and an end—and on Saturday, May 31st, eight veterans completed a two-year journey that began with uncertainty and ended in hope. These veterans and their fully trained service dogs graduated through Dog Tag Buddies, Montana’s only Assistance Dogs International (ADI)-accredited service dog program. They traveled from all corners of the state to participate in this momentous achievement.

When they entered the program in early 2023, each veteran was paired with a young dog that had little to no prior training.
