A long-running dispute over the price of water deliveries has ended with the signing of a settlement between San Diego County Water Authority and the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

Leaders of the two agencies say ending the dispute after 15 years of litigation will bring financial benefits and enable more flexibility in addressing water challenges.
