Jonathan Joss, who is best known for his recurring role as John Redcorn in the animated series “King of the Hill,” has died at age 59.

Joss died on Sunday, June 1, after he was shot at a home in San Antonio, Texas, police confirmed to CBS News . He was pronounced dead at the scene.

CBS affiliate KENS-TV reported that the suspected shooter, Sigfredo Alvarez Ceja, fled the scene but was detained by law enforcement shortly thereafter. He has been charged with murder. TMZ reported that his bond has been set at $200k.

According to KENS-TV, neighbors said that Joss and Ceja had a longstanding feud and were often armed during their arguments.
