COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCSC) - A Charleston man has been arrested and charged with distributing files of child sexual abuse material, the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office says.
Thomas Parr Flood, 34, is charged with four counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the attorney general’s office says.
Investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to Flood, who they say distributed files of explicit material involving children.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators arrested Flood on May 29. The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office helped with the investigation.
If he is convicted, each count is a felony punishable by up to 10 years
