BALTIMORE —

The Premier Lacrosse League is set to return to Baltimore, where local stars are getting a head start on the festivities.

Maryland Whipsnakes attackers Matt Rambo and Rob Pannell are legendary sharp shooters on the lacrosse field. But on Monday, they were rookies taking it all in at the firehouse in Hampden, seeing what it's like to be a Baltimore firefighter with Engine 21 and Truck 25.

"I certainly didn't expect to be getting out on the street. That was quite a great experience, but more so, just being here and talking to the men and women," Pannell told 11 Sports.
