HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — The Cabell County School Board is looking into possibly later school start times for middle and high school students. An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, June 3rd.
All is quiet at Cabell County Schools because school is out for the summer, but that will quickly end in August. The Cabell County School Board is in the beginning stages of possibly changing to later start times for middle and high school students.
"The research would allow them to get more sleep to help with their rhythm where more able to focus and help their achievements within the classroom," said Cabell County School Superintendent Tim Hardesty.
