PHOENIX — Just about a week after narrowing the list of candidates for the next head coach of the Phoenix Suns from nine candidates to six , the Suns are now choosing between two coaches, who both come from the same coaching staff, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.

Charania reported Monday that the Suns are choosing between Johnnie Bryant and Jordan Ott, who are both currently head coaches for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Charania also reported that both Bryant and Ott will meet with Suns owner Mat Ishbia in Michigan this week, and a formal hiring announcement could come later this week.

The Cavaliers finished the regular season with a record of 64-18. They earned the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference before being upset in the Eastern Conference Semifinals by the fourth-seeded Ind
