ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on St. Paul Boulevard, leaving an individual in critical condition.
Police said they responded to Rochester General Hospital at 5:38 p.m. for a report of a patient who had walked in with a gunshot wound. Once they arrived, officers found the victim was a 21-year-old man from Rochester suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the lower body.
As the investigation began, police said they were made aware that the victim was on the 1700 block of St. Paul Boulevard when he was shot.
After he was shot, the man was driven to the hospital by individuals who were nearby.
