WASHINGTON — Marketing its airwaves as a place where "the pride party never stops," two Washington LGBTQ+ nonprofits introduced a streaming station Monday focused on queer artists and allies.

Although launched during WorldPride, Pride365 Radio will go beyond the District's June celebration of the international LGBTQ+ community, aiming to stream all year and 24 hours each day. Pride365 and The Capital Pride Alliance (CPA,) both LGBTQ+ advocacy groups based in the District were behind the station's launch.

Note, however, the station is not available on terrestrial AM or FM radio dials and can only be broadcast using music streaming apps or on the station website, Pride365.org.
