The free publication, “Know Your Community,” is now available at various city and county offices, according to the League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County.

The publication provides information on how to contact locally elected officials, said Co-president Lisa Thornhill.

“Contact with our local elected officials is important in a democratic society to ensure that the voices and opinions of the community are well known to our representatives,” said Thornhill.
