Paramount Global has nominated attorney Mary Boies, former judge Roanne Sragow Licht and venture capitalist Charles Ryan to its board of directors.

Per the company’s proxy filing , the trio were nominated by the media giant’s governance committee after being introduced by a “non-management director and stockholder.” They will stand for election during the company’s annual meeting on July 2.

The move comes as Paramount and President Donald Trump are currently in mediation talks about a potential settlement of the latter’s $20 billion lawsuit against CBS and “60 Minutes” for an Oct. 7 interview with former Vice President Kamala Harris.
