PERRY CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Rescue teams are actively searching for a missing 19-year-old man in Perry County who is believed to be in danger.

The sheriff’s office says they are currently canvassing the area of Adyeville Road, near Anderson Woods Summer Camp.

Sheriff Malone says the missing man has special needs and was last seen around 3:30 p.m. wearing a light blue t-shirt, swimming trunks and white sandals.

Officials say they have search parties working on foot, along with K9’s and drones in the air.

We’re told they are preparing to get helicopters out to aid in the search.
