EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Nearly 40 new homes across southern Indiana are on display this week for the annual Southwestern Indiana Builders Association Parade of Homes.
As the busy home buying season begins, realtors are saying the housing market is returning to pre-COVID conditions.
Local realtors tell us it’s the best time to be a buyer since the beginning of the pandemic.
“We got a lot of people out here that want to see what the new styles are, they want to come walk through the homes, they want to meet the builders,” says Grant Waldroup, broker associate with FC Tucker Emge.
Waldroup says right now, sales are slightly up in the housing market over last year.
“We came out of winter and the weather improved, and you could tell the market definitely was going up and getting busier,”
