DUNBAR, W.Va. (WCHS) — If you tune into the City of Dunbar's social media pages to watch their committee hearings live, you will soon have to watch a recorded version.

Dunbar City Council voted Monday to no longer stream its committee hearings live on Facebook. Instead they will post them after the meetings are held and remove the option to comment.

Council members say concerns and complaints have been raised regarding what they call irrelevant and cruel comments on the live feeds, as well as misinformation.

Council members say the normal Dunbar City Council meetings will still be streamed live.
