American citizen Peter Brown received two favorable judgements from U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams Friday after being detained for ICE by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in 2018.
The American Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit in federal court in that year , claiming Monroe County Sheriff Richard Ramsay unlawfully detained and nearly deported the U.S. citizen.
