A Boston man pleaded not guilty Friday to charges that he allegedly beat a woman to death and left her body in a wheelchair outside a Roxbury apartment complex.

Kevin Boyette, 36, was charged with murder in the death of Tatyiana Flood, 21, of Maynard, whose body was found shortly after 6 a.m. on May 20 near 20 Annunciation Road, authorities said.

Boyette was arraigned Friday in the Roxbury division of Boston Municipal Court, where he pleaded not guilty and was ordered held without bail, according to court records. His next court date is July 1.

Prosecutors said investigators obtained security video that shows Boyette and Flood getting into a Jeep parked in front of the apartment complex at 6:43 p.m. on May 19.
