Mr. Bret M. Mowery, 64 of Murray, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his family.

Born August 17, 1960, in Vallejo, California, Bret was the son of the late James E. Mowery and Daphene (Herndon) Mowery of Murray, KY. He retired from Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky in Georgetown, KY, where he was a Production Team Leader.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish memories of Bret include his caregiver and companion, Anita Smith; brother, Mitchell Mowery, wife Tracey of Murray, KY; sister, Marci Mowery Ratterman of Jeffersonville, IN; and nieces, Holly Wade, husband Kyle and Mia Carman.

He was preceded in death by his father.

In honoring Bret’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at the Murray City Cemetery, with John Dale officiating.
