Reality stars Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are expecting their first child.

The former Made in Chelsea stars announced their happy news on Instagram on Tuesday by sharing a sweet video of Sophie having an ultrasound scan and them both reacting to the image of the tiny foetus as it appeared on the screen.

Jamie, who took the video, can be heard gasping in awe and saying, "Oh my God," and "Are you kidding me?"

The couple simply captioned their announcement with a love heart emoji.

They were inundated with congratulatory messages in the comments, with former Made in Chelsea co-stars Hugo Taylor and Lucy Watson writing, "Wow that is BIG news," and "Exciting times to come (heart) congratulations."

Their former co-star Louise Thompson commented, "Congrats guys this is SO exciting (six heart emojis)," and Zara McDermott added, "Congratulations oh my goodness this is the best news ever."

Meanwhile, Vicky Pattinson posted, "Omg!!!! This is the BEST news... congratulations you two (heart)," and fellow BBC Radio 1 presenter Mollie King wrote, "The best news!! Congratulations guys! See you later for a massive hug!"

They also received congratulatory posts from the likes of Molly-Mae Hague, Vogue Williams, Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell, among others.

Sophie, 30, and Jamie, 36, began dating in 2019 and tied the knot in 2023.

Sophie's pregnancy news comes shortly after they announced they will be hosting Jamie's BBC Radio 1's Going Home show together from 2 to 18 June, making them the first married couple to jointly present a Radio 1 show.
