Fire TV Sticks are an affordable way for people to have access to all their favourite streaming apps on their TV without having to splurge on a Smart TV. Including Prime Video, Disney+ , Apple TV, as well as your catch up apps, this nifty device allows users to enjoy their latest binge watch with ease.

However, some Fire TV Stick users may want to upgrade their devices as one of the most popular streaming services is set to disappear today (June 3). It was rumoured last month that Netflix would no longer be accessible on certain devices, but the news is now official.

Amazon confirmed the block in a statement, saying: "Netflix will be discontinuing support for some first-generation Fire TV devices, which were introduced more than 10 years ago."
