OXFORD, Miss. (WMC) - The Ole Miss Rebels fell to Murray State 12-11 on Monday night, losing their spot in the Super Regionals.

The road to Monday was an interesting one, as the Rebels, the hosts and the favorites to emerge from this weekend, were upset by Murray State on Friday.

It was the Racers’ first NCAA Tournament win since 1979.

But the Rebs responded with three straight wins, including piling on 19 runs in a rematch with Murray State on Sunday night, forcing the winner-take-all rubber match.
