BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A car crashed into a subway station fence in Brooklyn as the driver allegedly tried to evade a traffic stop on Monday, according to the NYPD.
Police said officers attempted to pull over a car near Cozine Avenue and Malta Street around 10 p.m. When officers walked towards the car, the driver allegedly sped off, according to authorities.
Police said the car later crashed into a subway station fence at East 105th Street and Farragut Road. Trains ran with delays due to the crash, according to the MTA.
Police said the driver was taken into custody. No injuries were reported, according to authorities.
