BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An 87-year-old man was struck by an MTA bus in Brooklyn on Monday, according to authorities.
Police said it happened near East 12th Street and Avenue Z at 6:40 p.m. The man was standing at the corner of East 12th Street when he was struck by the bus, which was making a left turn, according to authorities.
Police said the man was hospitalized in critical condition.
The bus stayed at the scene and the driver was also transported to a local hospital, according to authorities.
