Former TOWIE star Jake Hall has revealed how his young daughter River saved him from despair after the collapse of his first fashion label.

The 31-year-old was devastated when Prévu folded in 2023 but his little girl, seven, gave him the strength to rebuild his life.

Now celebrating the success of his new brand, the entrepreneur admitted he had been "at a very low point".

"If I'm honest, River is the reason I'm here today," he said. "She's amazing, and we've got an incredible relationship.

"It was the part that hurt most when I lost Prévu. I lost something that was for her, everything I do is for her and her future."

The star recently launched By Jake Hall, which has already been worn by major stars including David Beckham, former British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, Manchester City star Erling Haaland and Mike Tyson.

He describes the look as "classic with a modern twist" and says it is stylish enough for the red carpet but also suitable for everyday wear or holidays.

"The last few months have been a rollercoaster of emotions," Jake said. "Rebuilding a business is never easy. Losing something that you loved and grew from your bedroom - you go through a lot of turmoil in your mind.

"But I think that it was a blessing in the end. The last few months have been pretty amazing."

Enninful, one of the most respected names in fashion, wore one of Jake's suits during the Monaco Grand Prix and has since ordered two more. Beckham chose a jacket and trousers for a DB eyewear campaign, an outfit that has since sold out.

Jake shares his daughter with Misse Beqiri, star of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. The pair welcomed River in 2017 but split in 2021.

Currently single, he is focused on growing his fashion empire including an expansion into womenswear later this year.

"Right now, I'm dating my business," he laughed. "That's the only relationship I've got time for."

The former TV star also revealed that he has not found success easy and struggled with self-belief when he was younger.

"School was tough for me," he said. "I had dyslexia and quite a lot of problems growing up, and I want to show guys who might be similar to me that they can do it too. If I can, so can they.

"I'm in a really good place at the moment and excited about the future. I can feel the energy and the spark, and I just want to keep that momentum going."
