DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Our summertime pattern is returning, and today will serve as a transition day.
After starting in the 60s, highs today will approach the 90s once again, with several spots topping out about five degrees warmer than yesterday.
While we will stay dry through the afternoon, isolated showers are possible by 6 p.m., and rain chances will rise between 8 and 9 p.m. Heavy rain and lightning are the primary hazards, and severe weather is not currently forecast.
Downpours are likely starting tomorrow, which will come in rounds. Consistent rain is not currently forecast, nor is severe weather, but some localized minor flooding cannot be ruled out.
After tomorrow, scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible each afternoon and evening for the next seven days, with rain cha
