Woman badly injured as street fight breaks out in Lockleaze

One woman suffered an injury to her face and had to be taken to hospital after a fight broke out in a street in Bristol yesterday evening , Monday, June 2.

Police were called to Gainsborough Square, in Lockleaze , at around 7.20pm to reports of a disturbance.

A brawl broke out involving two women and a man with one of the women suffering a cut to the face .

She was taken to hospital for treatment but her injury is not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Three people have since been arrested in relation to the incident and at the time of reporting, remain in police custody.

One woman, aged 36, was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
