Gary Lee "GG" Gill, 72, of Bardwell, passed away on June 1, 2025, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. He was born on May 27, 1953, in Cairo, Illinois, to the late Hazel and Norma Gill.

Gary was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and retired after 42 years as a dedicated Rural Carrier for the United States Postal Service. His work ethic extended beyond his postal responsibilities; he was passionate about farming on the side, a testament to his love for the land and the outdoors.

Gary approached life with a witty, mischievous grin, never missing a chance to share a laugh or a gentle tease. He had a unique talent for finding joy in every encounter and a joke for every occasion. Above all, Gary was a people person who never met a stranger. He loved to play Rook with
