Bree ’s style.” Elsewhere, the Chicago Sun-Times published a summer reading list of 15 novels to enjoy through the sultry months. Unfortunately, 10 of the titles, including The Longest Day, The Rainmakers, and The Last Algorithm, were entirely fictional—hallucinations of fake titles attributed to real authors ( Rumaan Alam , Percival Everett, and Andy Weir, respectively) complete with made-up descriptions courtesy of the AI chatbot the list’s author admitted to having used for “research.”
