ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Ontario County DA's Office will announce a petition to deny the parole of Gregory Flint, who was convicted of murdering a child in the 1980s.
Flint, now 63 years old, was convicted decades ago for raping and murdering Staci Ackerman nearly four decades ago. It's unknown when his parole hearing will be, but the DA's Office is working with Staci's mother, Sue Ann Cross, to petition for his parole to be denied.
Flint was sentenced to 38 years to life in prison. He was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, first-degree rape, and first-degree sodomy. His first parole hearing is next month. If granted, the earliest he can be released is in Novembe
