NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- Get ready to rock and dance in the park as summertime in the city brings outdoor concerts and activities.
The City of New York is kicking off "New York Music Month," a free month-long celebration with more than 50 conferences and events beginning on Tuesday. There's something nearly every day, either in person or online.
Residents can see outdoor performances in the parks, virtual panel discussions, workshops and classes. Free rehearsal space is also available for artists.
The city will showcase emerging artists and people working in the music industry throughout the five boroughs. It's sponsored and brought to you by the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment.
