SEATTLE — Former socialist Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant announced she will run against 9th Congressional District incumbent Rep. Adam Smith, making some biting remarks about Smith in the process.
In remarks at a news conference on Monday, Sawant touted her accomplishments during her 10-year stint on the council.
