SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - Akron police say after a months-long investigation, U.S. Marshals have made an arrest in connection to a shooting inside a crowded bar in March.
The shooting happened in the early morning hours of March 10 at the Field House Lounge in the 300 block of Paul Williams St.
Three people were hurt.
Akron police say Jakel Blackwell, 22, is facing charges of felonious assault, having weapons under disability and carrying a concealed weapon.
The night of the shooting, police say off-duty uniformed officers working security for the business heard the gunfire and called for help.
At some point, a fight broke out and the gunman fired multiple shots, striking three victims.
