STEPHEN A. SMITH has teased a "very important" announcement on Wednesday.

The First Take star signed a new $100 million contract earlier this year.

It made him the lead broadcaster on the network, and he will be a major part of coverage going forward.

Smith has hinted at a number of new ventures in the coming years ahead.

He has even talked about moving into politics, and making a run at becoming President.

The veteran analyst also wants to make a switch to Hollywood, with more acting roles.

There has also been talk he may even join the Inside the NBA team.

That comes after the show moved to ESPN for the 2026 season from TNT Sports .

And Smith has teased that some big news will be coming on Wednesday, 3 June.

He made the revelation while on First Take on Monday morning.
