Free agent receiver Gabe Davis, who was cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars last month, is scheduled to visit with the Steelers on Thursday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Davis, a six-year veteran, could sign for the league minimum salary because the Jaguars are paying him more than $11 million this year after cutting him one year after signing him to a three-year, $39 million contract.

Davis, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2020 draft by Buffalo, had 2,730 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns in four seasons with the Bills.

The Jaguars, who have a new head coach, decided to move on after he had 20 catches for 239 yards and two touchdowns in his only season in Jacksonville.
