HOOSICK FALLS, NY — A confidential investigation commissioned by the Village of Hoosick Falls into the town’s police chief notes possible credibility issues after swirling accusations on social media, claims of sexual preference bias, and suspicions from the now newly elected mayor led directly to the suspension and eventual firing of the chief and a further investigation by the New York State Comptroller’s Office.
