North Carolina police accused a man of allegedly crashing his car into another one in an attempt to kill his wife — which echoed what he alleged was heard saying at the scene.
Anderson Singleton, 33, faces several felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, after police said he allegedly intentionally caused a head-on car crash on Saturday. According to reporting by local CBS affiliate WNCN, Singleton was driving a black Honda CR-V with his wife in the front passenger seat when he allegedly swerved into an oncoming brown Toyota Camry.
The crash was caught on camera by a passerby, whose vehicle had a dashcam.
